Community Guidelines
In order to foster a vibrant and constructive community, we ask all members to follow the below guidelines when interacting with Long Angle members. Any member in violation of these guidelines will be removed from the community.
1. Maintain Confidentiality
Community members highly value their privacy and share experiences and expertise in the trust that their privacy will be respected. Similarly, Long Angle promises outside experts and deal sponsors that their information will be treated with discretion. The identity of members, content of discussions, and information regarding deals or deal sponsors must not be shared outside the community.
2. No Solicitation
Long Angle aims to foster a “safe space” for authentic relationships and unbiased peer insights. Solicitation of any kind is strictly prohibited, ensuring members can interact without feeling pressured by sales or promotional activities. For full details, please refer to the updated No Solicitation policy below.
3. Long Angle SPV Offerings Only
Members may only participate in investment opportunities through Long Angle that are shared and vetted by the Long Angle Investments team. This approach ensures transparency, alignment with Long Angle’s purpose, and equitable access for members. Members may not circumvent SPVs to gain direct access to underlying investments unless they have a pre-existing relationship with the manager or gain Investment Team approval for specific circumstances.
4. Respect and Positivity
Long Angle is built on respect, trust, and shared values. Members are expected to engage thoughtfully and respectfully, even when they disagree. Personal attacks and questioning others’ motives are not acceptable. Avoid divisive topics like politics or religion unless discussing policy impacts. Always respect others’ personal space, both physically and emotionally, especially at in-person events.
5. Use Real Names & Photo
All members are required to use their real names and identities within the community. This transparency enhances trust and the quality of discussions, reinforcing the authenticity of Long Angle interactions. Please do not use any company logos, ads, or images depicting any person other than yourself.
